THREE OUTFITS FOR A POST-LOCKDOWN SPRING.
Last week the sun made an appearance for the first time in what feels like a lifetime. Being able to walk around Manchester in a shirt dress and sandals was the mood lift I needed; as lockdown and university on Zoom has left me feeling drained and unmotivated for such a long time. However, providing Boris' announcement tonight doesn't change the regulations, we should be in a position where we can all go shopping and for outdoor drinks and meals. Therefore, I felt that some outfit mood boards were in order; for post-lockdown life as I'm sure alike me, a light can be seen at the end of the tunnel.

A classic Tweed moment:
Tweed is very hit in miss, you either love it or hate it. Tweed has always been an Infamous recognition for Chanel branding. However, this season, many luxury brands adopted the textured fabric for SS/21, such as Alessandro Rich and Christian Siriano. This has translated to the high street with Zara being one fast-fashion retailer which has adopted the trend on a mass scale, often influenced by 1950s cuts or the 90s Chanel runways. Personally, I love a co-ord as I feel I get more outfit building possibilities with them, as you can wear them together or separately. The playsuit and Jacket are from Zara and the bucket hat is from Sister Jane but is an almost perfect match. This outfit can be built upon with layers of pearl necklaces and white accessories or kept monochromatic with accessories in a pastel blue hue.

Slouchy suits in nudes, off-whites and black were seen across the fashion week runways, with brands such as Michael Kors and Louis Vuitton showcasing a combination oversized blazers and cropped, sharply tailored blazers with wide legged trousers.
